Blue Hole Regional Park – Texas

After visiting Jacob’s Well, we stopped at another local swimming hole in Texas Hill Country called Blue Hole Regional Park.

The spring-fed Cypress Creek creates a perfect place to take a dip in the cool waters during the summer months. I thought it was so neat how there was platforms and tree swings.

Normally, you have to make a reservation for one of two time slots in order to enjoy this place, but since it was the off-season, we walked right in. There is also an admission fee.

We also took a stroll through the woods to the overlook.

This was just a quick stop to stretch our legs, but I did really enjoy it. I bet it would be a great place to visit during the summer months! We headed towards San Antonio!
