We were staying in the Shawnee National Forest and decided to hike the Rocky Bluff Trail which is part of the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. You can see my post HERE on that trail! In order to hike here, you need to obtain our permit so we visited the newly renovated Visitors Center. While there, I noticed on the map that there was a short trail nearby so we decided to check it out.

The Harmony Trail is shown on the map above by the number 1. The trailhead is marked by an A-Frame structure with some informational signs.
The trail leads through a mature, pine forest and is just under a mile long.
The trail loops around and leads to a wildlife blind.

This trail was really peaceful and a nice detour while driving to the Rocky Bluff Trail. I hope to return to this area and hike more of the trails here!
Very pretty!
