Whenever we travel, I always look for neat places along the way to get out and stretch our legs. Rock Mill Covered Bridge and historic grist mill was on our way to Hocking Hills State Park. The mill is located just south of Highway 33 near Lancaster, Ohio. The mill is part of the Fairfield County parks system.

Below the mill is a beautiful gorge where the Hocking River begins. The river plunges into a pool creating a small waterfall.
