I have a bit of exciting news to share with everyone! We bought a camper! I am a person who is always working towards something. It makes coming into work each and every day easier knowing that I am working towards one of my goals. For the past couple years, I have been researching and dreaming about the day when everything would align and I could add a camper to our adventures. Every week, I would meet my friend to walk after work and I would have to drive by an RV dealership. One day I spotted a camper that looked exactly like what I wanted so I finally got up the courage to stop in and look at it. After that, I couldn’t NOT get it LOL =) I fell in love with it! A few weeks later and after lots of support from family and friends, we are now officially owners of a E-Pro 17RK!
Another reason I wanted a camper was so that we could always bring our dogs along. Sometimes it is really difficult and expensive to find dog-friendly lodging. They love the camper!
So a bit more about the camper! The E-Pro line is manufactured by Flagstaff and is marketed as a lightweight, economical camper. It is 20 foot long with 17 feet of living space and weights about 3.000 pounds. Here is a peek inside of how it looked when we picked it up. Everything is enclosed within the trailer and we have one slide-out to add a bit more room. When you enter through the door, a large rear kitchen is to the left. I love all of the counter space here and that the stove is flush with the countertop to provide a nice flat surface to work on.
Above the kitchen is a row of cabinets and I picked up these awesome baskets with a handle from the Container Store (recommended by my cousin and fellow camper, Jess). They are awesome! They allow for simple organization and they are really easy to access since they have a handle. At a local craft night, I painted a sign to hang on the wall!
Next to the kitchen, built into the slide out, is the fridge and the U-shaped dinette. I love the large cabinets above the fridge and added some cork boards to the inside of the cabinets with some cute wooden push pins to save some of our mementos from along the way!
I also love the dinette as it has ottomans with storage underneath. I love having my feet propped up so the ottomans are perfect. This also converts to a bed, if needed, which gives us additional space.
Across from the dinette is a wet bath which contains a shower, sink and toilet all in one. There are some models that have a full bath, but we opted for this floor plan because we wanted more living space over bathroom space. It will work just fine for us =)
In the front of the camper is a queen-sized bed which fits two adults and two dogs pretty well LOL. The dogs love laying on the bed and looking through the large windows at the campsite.
The outside of the camper is pretty standard. We have some pass-through storage, an outside shower and a grill hookup. I love the colors and styling of the camper =) Some of my favorite features include the automatic awning, large windows and outside speaker.
Another nice feature is that the camper came prewired for a Furrion camera. There are two options you can choose from, a backup camera or an observation camera. We chose the observation camera since it stays on all of the time and was really helpful when towing to be able to see behind you.
We added a blog logo to the back window and will soon add one to the side window as well since we realized that while we are parked at a campsite, most people can’t see the back of the camper =)
I had actually never towed before so big thanks to my cousin teaching me how to tow (see picture below)!
Special shout out to everyone who helped us get to this point! We can’t thank you enough for all of your support! Our maiden voyage was to McCormick’s Creek State Park in Indiana. Stay tuned to hear more about that trip!
Chase your goals. Be happy. Adventure on!
So nice and roomy!!! I love it!

Congrats – I like those ePros. They have some really cool features. We just bought our second camper this summer and have been pretty much hooked on getting out and getting away from the normal everyday stuff. Good for you

Wow – just looked through your site and you’ve pretty much hit most of the best around the Midwest. If you’ve never been to Jim Edgar Panther Creek in Chandlerville, IL that’s one of my favs. Anywhere in and around Shawnee Forest is prime area as well, but we have not pulled our camper there – typically will rent a cabin for those trips. Keep exploring 👍🏼👍🏼
